My name is Ken Booster, and my wife Charlene and I have been involved in network marketing for 35 years.  I even owned my own network marketing company at one time.  But I am also very involved in other business endeavors, and I am a professional procrastinator!

When I became involved, I purchased a bunch of CDs and printed material with the intention of sending it out to my warm market right away.  Day after day I walked past that pile of material vowing to get to it "tomorrow".  Well, tomorrow didn't come, and I finally realized why I wasn't getting the stuff mailed out...

    • I had to go out and buy some sort of envelopes or mailing packages to put the stuff in.
    • Then I would have to choose what I wanted to send to each person.
    • Then I had to make up little stickers with my name and address and telephone number on them.
    • T hen I had to affix the little stickers to each piece I was sending out.
    • Then I had to purchase mailing labels.
    • Then I had to address each mailing label.
    • Then I had to stuff the correct stuff into the correct mailer
    • Then I had to drive to the post office and buy stamps.
    • Then I had to affix the stamps.
    • Then I had to mail the packages.
    • And if I wanted something personal to go with each mailer it required even more steps

WHEW! - Forget it!   It never did get done!  I'm just not that organized.

I decided the only answer was to put something together in advance that was compelling and professional, and which met certain guidelines:

    • It had to contain a short audio CD so it could be listened to on a trip home from or to work
    • It had to contain plenty of information on the Xango product
    • It had to contain testimonials
    • It had to talk a little about the business
    • It had to be personalized - even the CD had to have my name and contact info on it (And I HATE paper labels, so I purchased a $2500 printer to print in color on each CD)
    • It had to be totally self contained and easy to transport so I could hand it to someone as well as mail it.
    •  (Now instead of grummaging (is that a new word?) around in my car trunk and frantically writing my contact info on individual pieces, I just carry four or five mailers with me and simply hand one to a prospect and get their card so I can follow up.  He/She can listen to the CD on the way home from work, and I can call him/her that same night.

When I got it all together I asked Charlie Emmenecker and Doug Holmes, two upline Premiers, to review it.  They got so excited about it that we put together this little web site so you can have the same advantages we now have. We never intended it to be a business, but why argue with success?  So here we are!

What an exciting concept!  And to think it all came from my procrastination.  Is that serendipity, or what?
