PAY IT FORWARD

A wonderful new technique has been utilized by 200K Jim and Candy Webb in their business.  They call it "Pay it Forward".  The idea is that when signing up a new person, you ask for 10 names and addresses and YOU send out 10 packets on behalf of the new person to their friends.  This encourages a fast start which saves some time before your new recruit orders their own personalized packets.  It also "jump-starts" the prospect's business.  Jim and Candy currently use an hour-long CD in their packets.

At PowerStart we endorse this system of Pay it Forward, but we strongly feel that our PowerStart packets are the packets to use in this program.  Here's our reasoning:

1)  Our CD is only 17 minutes long.  Other CD's are an hour long.   We have found that most people will not listen to all of an hour-long CD unless they are motivated to do so.  We make the assumption that most people "are not interested" when you approach them.  After all, they are very busy as it is.  You are an interruption to their schedule.

One of the reasons our CD works so well and has been constantly re-ordered by people is because in 17 minutes we cover ALL of the business.  We name and talk about the medical conditions Xanthones are used for, the drugs Xanthones have been known to replace, the research being done on Xanthones, the businesses Xanthones have spawned, royalty income benefits, and we have a number of testimonials on the product as well as a few comments from a pastor who is doing the business, and a 200K distributor (Charlie Emmenecker).  This is all presented by the voices of 8-10 different people instead of just one person doing the talking.  It is very believable.

2)  Your contact information is printed right on the CD (No paper label).   This is important because we have had many occasions where the CD got separated from the material, and someone got the passed-down CD who wanted to sign up.  If the CD was one of the mass-produced CD's available elsewhere, the distributor's name would not have been on it, and the distributor would not have signed up the prospect.  Having the CD personalized AS WELL as the other material is important.

3)  Because the CD is short, people typically listen to ALL of it.   An hour-long CD is not easily listened to on the way home from work when the typical commute is 20 minutes (except for you guys in California! :) )  But seriously, isn't it better to say to a prospect "Listen to this CD on the way home from work - it's only 17 minutes long.  If you like what you hear, great - if not, maybe you know someone who would benefit from listening to it.  Either way, let's touch base tomorrow and talk."?   Now how much simpler can you get than that?  With an hour-long CD you run the risk of the prospect never getting to the part that interests them the most, whereas in 17 minutes they get the whole story without hype.

4)  We have a special personal note designed specifically for the Pay it Forward program.   Your prospect simply fills in their name, puts their telephone number on it and signs it.  we have reproduced it at the bottom of this page.

5) We typically ship your order via Priority Mail within 24 hours of receipt.   Many times, if you order early in the day it will go out the same day.  we have been told that other packets from other suppliers take a lot longer to get.  We are distributors, and we know it is important for you to get good service.

So let's get behind the Pay it Forward program.  If you really feel an hour-long CD is the better way to go, order them from the other company and start recruiting.  If you like our approach, order our packets and we'll ship them immediately.  Either way, you win.

The personal note at the left is a suggested note to send with the Pay it Forward program.  Your new distributor puts their name at the top (i.e. Ken Booster), puts a telephone number at the bottom (i.e. 317-578-3404), and then signs the note below the phone number.

Now you can order your packets with your name on all of them.  The personal note will have your name on it as usual.  Therefore You use your packets for your recruiting.  But if you want to use them to send to your new distributor's prospects, you simply substitute this note for the personal note that came in your packets.  That way you have the best of both worlds.
